Another question:

I am restoring the wooden dash on my Tiger. I need to apply new lettering on
the dash before I apply the finish coats. The hard way is to cut-out and
apply individual letters until the proper words are made up. This is tedious
and prone to misalignment. I would prefer to apply ready made compete words;
i.e. BLOWER, LIGHTS, FAN, IGNITION, WIPER, etc. Can anyone recommend where I
can find replacement decals to apply to the dash? The decals need to hold up
to being sprayed with the finish material.

I plan to use marine varnish as the finish for the dash. Is there a
recommended finish which I should use that is resistant to UV radiation (and
hence will resist turning orange and milky).

Again, thanks for the advice,

Wayne
