I have a nephew who is a cabinetmaker here who recon's that best solution to
retoring the dash is instead of using the original walnut veneer on the dash
is to use a laminated (laminex) plastic with walnut patern on it! Lasts
longer, tougher, UV resistant and looks a dead ringer for the real wood.

I can hear the originality freaks squirming from down under.
