I am not sure that these posts made it to the list. I have only seen them
in my personal in box, not on the list.

>In the last few months the club membership has become restless and some
may have departed us from a lack of information being passed to you/us.
Those of you who received your TEAE United XX registration packages read a
brief note regarding the tragic family events of our new editor, but still
no newsletter. Remember the adage, 'Don't shoot the messanger,' this
applies to both Robyn and myself.
>
>I personally spoke with the TEAE editor, Robyn Quinter, today (8/3). She
has apparently received numerous calls regarding the newsletter's status
because, after identifying myself as a member, she stated, "Its at the
printers," and was about to hang up, but I had good news for her (look for
my second e-mail... MOTORWEEK at TEAE United XX) so we had a chance to
talk. Her husband is recovering as good as can be expected after having a
serious heart attack, which was the main reason for the newsletter's
absence from our mailboxes. With the newsletter at the printers, we should
be seeing it soon enough, but I have no idea how long the printer will take
(give it a week or two okay?).
>
>We are also trying to be more creative with the TEAE website and, with the
terrific assistance of Kurt Eckert, we have made some changes already for
the better. Member input is strongly encouraged. Write about a local event
you attended and how everybody did... good, bad, ugly or funny. Regional
reps can post information on gatherings for their region and provide a
local contact point for encouraging new members. Check out the site at:

>For those of you seeking an audience with our club president, he has
registered for, and is expected to attend, the TEAE United XX this October.
By attending yourselves, you should have an opportunity to air your club
concerns in a more appropriate forum. Hopefully our website will soon have
a Questions and Answers forum for the president and regional representatives.

>I hope to see all of you at the United.
