Tym,
My Tiger has a 5/8" long steel bushing and a flat washer
between the mounting bracket of the bumper and the end of the
rear frame. Presently have the bumper off so I can't give you
a good measurment right now ( maby tomorrow night). Where is
your bumper too close to the new paint?
I also have a trailer hitch that uses the bumper mounting
bolts. The trailer hitch steel is 3/8" thick, so my bumper
(when on the Tiger)is extended back even more than normal.
