Jim,

Regarding your Mr. Gasket Filter question:

I think the more appropriate question would be "how much
scale will it accumulate before this screen collapses from
its edge squeeze, and dumps it's contents, and itself into
the raditor.  The Gano filter element is dual brass cone
screens (first with a "mouse trap hole in it} soldered to
brass retainer plates that are held by machine screws.  May
plug if not maintained, but not going anywhere.
