a) limited presence of "special advertising sections"
b) frequently, but not always, getting industry "scoops"
c) Escape Roads
Autoweek minues:
a) Satch Carlson gone
b) Roger Barlow gone (passed away)
c) Keith Martin still there. Kinda like those service shops that are
"specializing in brakes, engines, transmissions, shocks, collision
repair, tune-ups and tire on domestic and foreign cars and trucks". Huh?
Can't be an expert on everything.
I think their last letter wanted me to extend my subscription through
2006 or something. My 10-year collection of Escape Roads articles,
back-to-back in sheet protectors, doesn't really fit in one 5"-capacity
ring binder anymore. Guess which car I put first? :-)
