In answer to Rich Atherton and his ability to use widely marketed
negative earth sound equipment in his positive ground Alpine, I can only
say that Philip Bailey and Earth, Wind, and Fire were still in junior
high, and Disco was usually only associated with Disco Volante(Flying
Saucer) when I needed someone to install a Motorola AMFM in my MGB-GT. I
could have used your knowledge back then.
As it was, I was told then it couldn’t be done. I didn’t have the
personal experience or Richs’ advice, and I lived with the British
Leyland-issued AM mono radio to listen to the Boys from the Beach.
