Some of you will be happy to know that I've decided to spend a few more
bucks (and a few more weeks!) to go for the two stage color sand paint from
an LBC reputable shop. Thanks for all the input. Epoxy primer is not
available up here, but the paint will be the DuPont good stuff (yes that's a
technical term) with a 5 year warranty. I saw an MGA (BRG) that he did 5
years ago (back because the guy smashed it a bit) and it looked great - no
ripples, orange peel, etc.
That being said, in about 6 weeks or so I still am going to need:
1. seats - ideally SV but (hold onto your hats) Tiger seats would be OK
also. I know Bob wants me to go with Fiero or Recarro, but I want the
Sunbeam look! (and I don't want to invent a way to re-cover them with the
color and piping to match may car) :-)
2. center glove box
Any leads out there?
