The G Teck Pro is 2 3/16" wide. Yes, I have it and only used
it so far on my 2.8 L Alpine. 75 HP indicated with an
automatic. Haven't checked for 1/4 mile. Waiting to get my
Tiger back on the road.
Unfortunationally you need to tilt the unit to enter the weight of the
car. This would be difficult if you mounted it in the clock
hole. If you power it down you have to re-enter the weight.
The suction cup mount of the unit and the "tilt" adjustment
is very poor. Falls of the windshield sometimes and the tilt
adjustment is not smooth at all. There is only a slide switch
which is also a push button for the inputs. Not very easy
when driving in traffic. Works well when one is doing
a specific test starting from a stop with NO Traffic.
