The rear plate was installed by the dealer.

I've seen a lot mounted on the trunk lid as yours.

But I've also seen a fair number like mine, under
the bumper.  I like the fact my trunk lid is still a
virgin.  Both ways use the stock lights.

Just like the outside mirror.  It all depends on
where you got your car.  What a Sunbeam dealer
did was different from what a Chrysler dealer did.
