business for Mustangs. Is this correct?
If so, what is the going rate for your Motorsport crate HiPo
302 roller lifter motors with the good GT-40 heads?
PAW lists a short block for $800 (FOR-M-6009-C50), and cast
flat top pistons, and a high torque roller cam (FIAE-AA)
The SVO "H.O." version includes Hypereutectic 9:1 (if you
use 65 cc heads), same cam (0.480 lift, 224 deg. duration)
producing 285 HP with your headers, F.I., and GT-40 heads
added. This is listed as FOR-M-6009-B50 at $1295
The long block with GT-40 iron heads, stainless undercut
stem, swirl polished 1.84 in. intake and 1.54 in. exhaust
valves, valve covers, oil pan with rear reservoir, flywheel,
damper and "short" front cover, water pump is (M-6007-A50)
is $2595 .
The above long block with Aluminum GT-40 heads (25
pounds/head lighter) , turbo-swirl combustion chambers,
stainless undercut stem, swirl polished 1.94 in. intake and
1.54 in. exhaust valves Aluminum Motorsport valve covers,
and choice of B303 (0.480 lift, 284 deg duration)
(M-6007-B50); or E303 cam (0.498 lift, 282 deg. duration -
(M-6007-B51) is $2995.
