After about 5 months of work, our semi-restored tiger is almost together.
However, one thing I can't figure out is how and where is the washer bottle
supposed to mount on our Tiger # B382001828? The bottle, which came with the
car but wasn't mounted, has the "basket" that the bottle slips into and also
a strap about 10" long and about 1" wide with several holes that the basket
can be bolted to. The holes are all about 3/16" dia. There is also a hole at
each end of the strap that look like they are there to mount the whole
assembly to the body of the car. I know it mounts at the right front corner
of the engine compartment, but I can't find any holes in the body, etc.,
where it would have been fastened down. I looked in all my books and can see
many pictures of the bottles, but no details such as mounting, etc. Any help
on this detail will be much appreciated! Thanks.
