Very nice photos of a very nice looking, personalized car. Interesting the
way you have continued the hood stripes into the cockpit in lieu of a dash
pad.
Carroll Shelby owns a Tiger, but not the prototype he built for Rootes. That
car has been owned for over 20 years by Bill Carroll of San Marcos, CA. Of
course, it was a modified Alpine. Shelby's personal car is a production
Tiger, chassis no. B9470789. In 1978 Bill Carroll wrote the very first Tiger
book, which he titled "Tiger--An Exceptional Motorcar."
