It's not that hard to install headers on the Tiger . Jack up the car &
support with stands. Support the engine under the oil pan with a jack &
wooden block. Remove the motor mounts, motor mount brackets, & old manifolds
or headers. Drop everything out the bottom. Stick the motor mount/brackets
through the headers & raise up from underneath & bolt in place. (this
requires 3 or 4 hands) Now look where the headers rub on anything & mark
those spots, remove everything again & dimple the headers to eliminate any
contact. Reassemble everything again. If it's ok, disassemble it again, send
the headers out to be ceramic coated. Mine went to Jet-Hot. When you get the
headers back, stick the motor mount/bracket through the header & reinstall
again. Now fabricate an exhaust system out the back of the car. Heck,
nothing to it.
