clutch help

when i blew my slave piston out of the slave the rubber was cut. i do not
have time to order a rebuild kit before i go to sea and i really want to
drive this beast today. do any of you know of a replacement part that will
work? the slave has a 7/8 on the side. one moe thing. i made a 1/2 spacer
today to move the slave closer to the clutch fork. how much distance should
be between the fork and the slave?
