I ordered my new windshield gaskets today so I thought I would strip and
paint my frame before I place the new windshield in the frame. the first
frame had a slight bit of rust so I decided to check the second one. well to
my surprise they are different. one the first one the large mounting studs
are a welded u bolt. on the second it is just two bolts welded in. which is
the correct one. I was thinking of putting the windshield in myself. is this
truly a foolish idea? who has tried it/
