Stu,

Loved your reply.

Missed just one small detail. Your replacement for the $895 Zooper Palm Pilot
was
created by killing trees (wonder what we are killing for our computers?), and
the
MAJOR component of your recommended system was not even mentioned - The Input
Device!!!

This device is a loose piece, assured to get misplaced when it is crucially
needed. Requires the killing of more trees. Is fragile at it's functional
media
interface, looses molecules and degrades in use, and must constantly be
maintained
from breakage or use wear, becoming shorter in the maintenance process until it
is
discarded as non recyclable, lead contaminated hazardous material (I know the
'lead' isn't lead, but it's not funny that way {9->)

The input device has a pointed shape that is dangerous to small children, and
has
been known to puncture and damage a mature user when grasped in anger, or in
hand
while table pounding - a frequent habit of technophobes.

A higher technology replacement, filled with toxic liquid chemicals in petroleum
based casings, can be found protruding by the dozens in plastic pocket
protectors. These are known to have 'nose bleeds' on pockets of white shirts
that
are still worn by socially retarded individuals. These run out of media, or
otherwise fail to function, only when most needed.

This oversight may have been accidental, or your research may be funded by those
very commercial organizations supporting a return to the past, the paper , pen
and
pencil industry - who are killing our forests and small furry inhabitants
featured in Disney movies, thereby skewing your conclusions.

Besides, I always either loose the small memory leaf, crumpled up some where I
forget, or put the input device in my pocket and sit on it. (Ouch)
