Voltage regulator

Many Many thanks to all the help I received on my guages shorting out
the voltage regulator. All the info helped me understand the n's and
out's of the wiring, okay a little better. The problem turned out to be
the temp unit studs (posts), one of them was touching the metal housing
and causing a short which blew the volt. regulators. 4 to be exact.
