Soft top metal covers bolts

Does anyone know what type of bolt is used to hold down large metal boot
cover for the Mk1s.  My friend Scott and I went to install his and
realized we are missing those bolts.  I found a bolt that works here at
home so I can figure out the threads however, are these bolts anything
like the shoulder bolts for the side covers?
