Tigers in Los Angeles,

What's with the Alphabet Soup?

The origin of our "LAT" options is "Los Angeles Tigers", and
this message is for you.

CAT, of course, is the California Association of (Sunbeam)
Tiger (Owners), one of the
oldest Tiger organizations.

STOA belongs to that active Tiger club, Sunbeam Tiger Owner's
Association, centered in California's "Northern Territories",
just outside the Los Angeles County line. {9->

And TAC is the Tiger Authentication Committee, (or
Certificate), that they issue to any
and all Tigers that originally rolled off the Tiger assembly
line, and passes their
thorough examination. These are NOT the "Historic
Authenticity Police", as they will actually certify your
Tiger's origins even if you've added a Chevy V8, Mustang II
steering and a Jeep axle with flares on Alpine front fenders.
Those few who do not pass are not "listed" anywhere, just not
certified. Cost is only $10, per CAT web page www.Catmbr.org

They are "Coming Together", for us deprived locals, on Sunday,
July 30, 2000 at the CAT Parts Warehouse, 11005 Shoemaker
Ave., Sante Fe Springs, CA 90670. Use MapQuest.com, or
similar, or have a good map to assure you don't get lost.

More information can be received from Tom Hall (925)-462-3876,
or Kevin Meek (408)-432-3434.

Don't miss the opportunity to have your car authenticated, our
CAT member Ramon Spontelli will be an inspector.

Steve
