I can't confirm what LAT stands for but can add the following. I have a
January 2, 1969 "Rootes Non-cataloged Items" dealer price list which
shows, among other things, LAT-2 Engine Dress Up Kit-Sunbeam Tiger List
$69.00 Dealer 48.00. It also shows, NY-4021 Seat Belt Black List $7.50
Dealer $3.75, NY-4088 Racing Mirror List $6.55 Dealer $3.93.
No other LAT options are listed, there are 10 "NY" items which
include hose clamps, thermostat, Sunbeam Imp. Rear Window Prop, etc. I
have a Sunbeam accessories catalog (not handy) which also shows "NY"
items. I believe "NY" stands for New York. Apparently
options/accessories were also made/cataloged in New York. Has anyone
seen a "LAT" type list showing "NY" numbers?
