Hal,

Just out of curiosity, don't you need to be concerned about the heat level
of the halogen bulbs...they seem to be hotter to the touch per watt than
most of the regular incandescent to me.

Regards,

Allan

Subject: Halogen Instrument bulbs

Hi: The car is away for the winter with the exception of an occasional
outing to get it out in the fresh air, but I still find that there are items
requiring the assistance of the experts.

I found on the Web Site, LBCarco.com, that 12V 5W halogen instrument bulbs
are available in both screw and bayonet holder formats. Replacing the
existing 2.2W bulbs and the3.6W bulb seems to be an almost too easy
solution
to better illumination on the dash, however, I want to be sure that I do not
create new problems.

Will the existing wiring, fuses, etc support the additional wattage as is
or
do other changes have to be made ?

Thanks, Hal Jean
