Electrical Clarification: "Short" will mean less resistance usually due to
electrical path leaving out some of the wire length due to contact between
coils of wire; "Open" will mean infinite resistance (what you have? probably
due to no contact thru the points); "Ground" is wire connected to "grounded"
metal (ie. body, frame, engine) where it is not intended to be connected.
