Steve,
Heads up on the overspray. Only use the compound if you have to. There is a
better way and that is using a Clay detailing bar. It will clean off
overspray and tree sap and Rail dust (Iron filings cooked into the surface
of the paint from rail transport) with NO damage to the original finish.
Brand names are Z-Bar, Detail Magic, Clay Magic, and the Generic "Clay
Detailing Bar. To use it get the are wet and keep running water over it, rub
with the bar and it will leave the surface smoother than a babies bottom.
