CAT aluminum 6 bolt slave bracket

I have read that the CAT aluminum 6 bolt MkII slave bracket is weak and needs 
to be reinforced. Is this true? Does it need to be modified? Except for the 
bellhousing mount locations, this aluminum piece appears to be cast as robust 
as the iron 5 bolt MkI piece.
