While some of you were discussing proper engine colors last weekend, I
was coincidentally checking out that very subject on Mustangs at a show
on Sunday.
According to one of the catalogs for Mustangs Unlimited parts, Old Ford
Blue(the darker color) was used from 1966 until 1973, but you couldn't
tell it by the affected cars at the show. Some of the 1966-1968 cars
used a lighter blue, and others seemed to use a combination of both.
In any event, both Mustangs Unlimited and Eastwood show the paints in
their catalogs.
