Hi, all:
Wondered if I could tap into the wealth of experience out there with
regards to a question.
I'm planning on using a right-angle oil filter adapter on my Tiger
which, I understand, will work with the stock exhaust manifold (and a
few minutes of file work).
I'd like to (eventually) build up the motor (302) and use a set of
headers. I'd also like to keep the right angle filter adapter, rather
than going to a remote filter, though I've been keeping copies of all
the info on remote filters that have been on the list lately (personal
preference at this point, though I realize that I might have to change
tracks at a later date:-).
I understand that J.C. Whitney used to sell headers that worked with the
right angle filter adapter, though I gather they no longer sell that
particular header.
Question is this:
1. Has anybody out there used another type of header with the right
angle filter adapter, and if so, what kind of header (shorty, equal
length, unequal length), and are they still being manufactured?
2. Has anybody got pictures of either the J.C. Whitney headers or of
another type that fits successfully with the filter adapter?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Regards,
