Steve and all, there has been a lot of talk about the quantity and quality
of the sound produced with various muffler configurations with almost no
comment on the relative performance obtained by the individual
configurations. Anyone care to comment on the relative performance
attributes of the various Flowmaster series for instance?

Shaun,
A quick look at the Flowmaster home page,
http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/fmtest/DOCS/SET.html will show the
dimensions of all the series they make. The new "Delta Flow" has an
extra chamber. Check dimensions of each of the series, 30, 40, 50, and
"Delta Flow" quieter 50 series (which seems more street able), and
compare them to your own. This should tell you which one you have, as
they are all different. Some do not come in 2" inlet/outlet, so need
adapters or frame modifications (as Larry Paulick did in the pictured
http//www.TigersUnited.com Performance Tuning Tech Tips section.
