Lower radiator hoses

I was reading on the TU website, the article about installing a 5.0L crate
motor.
The author kept the water pump with the drivers side discharge water pump.
He encountered all kinds of difficulty with the lower hose interfering with
the bottom steering U-joint.
The raised a question for me.
Does a right hand steering Tiger use a different lower radiator hose?
How did it cope with a similar interference ?
