I agree that we all should do something. Find a good cause and stick with
established organizations will help make sure that your money and efforts
actually do some good. 16 years ago I joined the Lions, the world's largest
service organization (about 1.4 million people, worldwide), and have never
worried that my time or money was wasted. Email me off-line

I have seen this on other car boards . . . . it has been offered that this
is poooooooop. Until someone comes up w/ a definitive "study" (I don't know

On a somewhat similar note, I had heard that Target stores were donating big
$ (millions) to charities on a regular basis. I thought this good enough
reason to shop there as opposed to anywhere else BUT was unable to confirm.
We SHOULD support those who are generous to the "needy" - how do we verify
this?
