There is a search engine that will hot-link indicate any mention of any
subject you care to name within the site and the Forum. (Hot link on
upper black bar "SEARCH" There is a lot of discussion of transmission
selection, and even Excel spreadsheets to calculate speed in gears with
any combinations, as well as articles discussing installation and use.
The Tiger Forum has useful information on this, as well and also links
to some main site articles. It also has an obvious layout and it's own
search engine for the Forum alone. Hot link on same black bar.
You will see there were many T-5 gear boxes made, some better than
others, as well as articles showing the installation. There are also
opinions about using the Ford Wide Ratio gear set, per the Mk II usage,
to improve performance significantly, with the same gear box.
