I have a pair of brand new replacement calipers for a Z sitting on the bottom
parts shelf, right next to some Alpine calipers, and they look really similar,
but I've never actually taken comparative measurements. I'm sure the pads would
interchange, and the bolt pattern might be close enough to allow one to bolt up
to the other. If anyone is interested I can verify this - making your brake
setup Z-car compatible would probably open the door to a wide selection of pad
materials.
