I am working on body work now and have a question about a hole in the
flat area below the decklid where the top of the bumper would line up
with. There is a hole approx. 1 inch in dia.
The hole is directly above the hole for the bumper mount on the
passenger side of the car.
My question is what is it and should I weld it closed or is it there for
a reason. The hole is not
a perfect circle which leads me to beilieve that it was put there by
someone other than the factory.
