Apparently I was remiss in not providing excruciating detail in my
previous post on the LED light bulb replacements...

As you can see you can order replacement "bulbs" for various automotive
bulb types, but not all are available in white. White LEDs (as well as
blue LEDs) carry a premium price tag because it's relatively recent
technology.
www.digikey.com provides overnight shipping of a vast array of
electronics components, at very good prices, but they are not a design
house - you have to know what you want, or at least the attributes of
the parts you want, before you have any hope of navigating their search
engine.
