The accelerator pump system is not working soon enough.
Check the position of the accelerator cam and linkage to the accelerator
pump arm. The pump should be squirting fuel when you move the throttle.
Also check the fuel level in the fuel bowls.

I can't seem to get the car to transition smoothly from idle. Whenever
the throttle is fully closed and then opened slowly the engine stumbles.
When cruising along a 40 mph if you close the throttle and then just
barely open it the same thing happens. Once you get past that initial
stumble it runs nice and smooth.

I am running an LAT-1 setup. F4b and 1848. 55 jets, 8.5 power valve.
Pertronix ignitor II installed in an autolite dual point. Plugs,
wires, cap, rotor, are all new.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Scott
