I'm trying to decide which path to take with regard to brakes on a boosterless
Mk1A. The car did not have a booster when it was purchased. I acquired a
Midland Ross unit but never installed it, I like the rock hard brake pedal and
I'm trying to keep that feel plus improve the brakes. The following are
possible solutions, any help is appreciated.

1) Smaller bore dual master cylinder with R4 Porterfield pads and shoes on
stock discs and drums.

2) Smaller bore dual master cylinder with larger front discs and possibly rear
discs purchased from Dales Restoration.

3) Master cylinder and rear cylinder kit as supplied by Doug Jennings with
Porterfield pads and shoes.

The car will only be driven on the street but I would like it to have
excellent fade free brakes for occasional
hot rodding on country roads.

Thank you.-Brad
