I'm curious if the body of a car in this sad situation (fire) can be
salvaged. Or, does the heat warp the car beyond any funtional use. Given the
rarity of real Tigers I was thinking that perhaps a fire salvaged body (of a
real Tiger) would be a labor intensive, yet still redeeming work when mixed
with the components of a severely rusted Tiger (or pieced together from
available Tiger components).
In the end it would be all (or nearly all) Tiger components from two cars
making one. I know that the challenge would not be for everyone, but it is the
kind of crazy thing I'm inclined to do (because I usually have more time than
money, but not really enough of either).
My sympathy to the owner and his great loss. I hope his family faired
better.
