I want to thank you for your quick reply to our group's concern over
authenticity. It is certainly possible that a real Tiger could have had
the observed "Alpine" features added during a rebuild, or for personal
reasons. Our groups attention was directed at the observed, but
unexplained, "Alpine Conversion" clues. I also thank you for "copying"
the list, as well as the extra ordinary modification to the auction
listing itself.
This shows a careful consideration of the issues, and the concern to
assure both bidders, and the Tiger community, that their concerns and
observations of the "tell-tale" signs of typical "conversions" were
mistaken in this case.
Speaking for myself, and hopefully for the community, we welcome your
attention to our group concerns, and the positive steps you took to
resolve them. Would there but be more eBay sellers with as much
interest and integrity. A site NOT well regarded for attention to
misleading bidders by not having a way of getting issues like this
resolved. It is only thru your listing of your personal contact that
this could be resolved.
