Thanks!  That's what I figured but I have no experience with slip joints on
headers.  The pin hole I discovered was obviously a leak but the pressure
test showed my fix worked there.  The only other leaks detected were at the
slip joints.

Many header types use slip joints and this presents little problem. When
using a product like Cermakrome small pinhole leaks become obvious. These we
weld before application of the Cermakrome. The slip joint will only leak if
there is excessive back pressure.
