Whether or not you like the aesthetics of the front end is personal.
Other than that, it's got some interesting pieces (if that's a real and
in-good-condition Mk2 Tiger grille, it's very rare, at least), but it
looks to me like the interior finishing is a little ...unfinished. If
that's how the seller is with the wiring you can see, how will he have
done all the parts you can't see? If your friend is interested in it,
then he ought to bid on it as though it was a big pile of parts sitting
in the driveway - he may find that in order to bring the car up to his
expectations, a complete disassembly and rebuild is in order, if for no
other reason than to understand how everthing was put together in the
first place.
Caveat emptor. Bid what you can afford to walk away from.
