The method I use is basically the same as the manual.  The tips on folding and
placing the top just happens to be what I have learned folding Sunbeam tops
since 1962 the year that I bought my first Alpine.

You are of course free to fold your top anyway you wish.

  The video isn't prefixed with commentary as to why this method is preferable
over that illustrated in the owners handbook. Comments?
