I would check about a shop in your area that rebuilds alternators
and see if they can rebuild it with a higher amp output.
The same shop could also get you a similar alternator with more output.

I think my alternator is checking out.. wanted advice on a
replacement. Future plans for this daily driver include halogen
lights, full stereo, hi output electronic ignition, etc... in other
