Jeff,

Actually, the easiest way to change plugs on the Tiger is to go thru the
exhaust. It is a bit tricky and you will need a long extension but it is
actually the least intrusive of all methods. The tricky part is that you
need to ensure that the exhaust valve for the cylinder you are changing is
in the full-open position. The best way to do this is to disconnect the
wires to all but the plug you being changed. Have your wife/significant
other turn the ignition while you carefully listen to the exhaust while one
of your kids/friend yells into the carb. When you hear a pop following full
quite (ie. when both valves are closed) you know the exhaust is open.

Don't spread this around. This method is not usually published to newcomers
but it truly is the most used and easiest method for changing plugs on the
Tiger.
