door window weather-stripping

I want to replace both the inside and outside weather-stripping on the door
windows (the pieces on the top of the door).  I didn't see this described in
the workshop manual.  Are there any tricks replacing these pieces?  Do I
have to remove the window to do it?  Is this documented anywhere?  Thanks.
