Tony,

A read of TBON will pictorially show the slow roll model change Sunbeam 
made from the MkI to the MkIA.  These cross-over models changed the 
rounded hood, trunk, door openings in stages until all the "MkIA" (US 
designation, not Sunbeam's) were square cornered on all pieces. 

Alpines were in the same boat.
