Randy,

Theo, as always, is right on the money.  His project for dash instrument 
lights looks enticing, however.

did some local research at Pep Boys, Kragen, and AutoZone.  Difficult to 
find ones with bayonet sockets, and they come in colors, white, and 
"flashing", rotating", etc. cop catching flavors.  A few on the internet 
look about right, but there is still a lot of variation in the number of 
active led's.

NONE of them are suitable for direction blinkers, as our flasher relays 
will not handle them, but accessory flasher units are available.

Don't see any for front turn signals or parking lights.  Not worth the 
effort.  Especially when I saw them inspect light bulbs for originality 
at a local concour!
