As a member of STOA at the last meeting Bill Martin and Dave Stone, the
owner, gave a presentation of the racing at Laguna. In the course of the
presentation it was stated that these wheels were custom made and are
knock-offs for quick changing. The wheels are a custom split wheel design
that Doane Spencer had created. One of them separated during Dave's run
resulting in an instant flat. So, he didn't finish but they had a great
showing before the incident. No one was hurt and the only damage was to the
wheel.
These wheels are way too expensive for street use and my understanding is
that they are machined from magnesium.

The latest issue of CAT magazine has a picture of the Hollywood Sports Car
#55 on page 4. Does anyone know what brand of wheels are shown on the car?
Are they bolt on or knock offs?
