[Tigers] Solenoid

Howdy all:

Took the Tiger out for a drive on a nice day after a several month
slumber, and when the engine was turning over, I noticed that the
solenoid was smoking! It stopped immediately once the key was in the
"on" position as opposed to the "start" position, which makes sense (to
me, at least). Still being a relative Tiger newbie, and much more of an
English car guy than an American car guy, I'd love some advice on
replacement solenoids. Should I be looking for the typical Lucas stuff,
or was the solenoid an American item? If the latter, guidance on where
to get an original style replacement would be great!

Thanks so much!
