In 2005/6, that company (or its legal predecessors) tried to register
the US trademarks for Sunbeam Tiger and Sunbeam Alpine. One of the
lawyers on the list (or somehow associated with list members) filed
objections, but I don't recall what became of it. Looks like they're
continuing to market their wares using the Sunbeam name, and the "new
Tiger" is still on their list of could-haves.
