C4OE - 9425 is the correct 2 bbl intake manifold for a 260; color
should be black.
This is a casting number so the meaning of the E is more likely Engineering;
the rest of it is right.
The carb tag numbers look weird to me or a least not what I expected.
Look at the base plate of the carb in front of the throttle linkage and read
the number stamped there.
With that number I should be able to tell you what you have for a carb.
Pictures to the list will be deleted by the List server unless it is a web
site address to the picture.

Took a look at my carb and intake today in preparation to pull the carb and
have it rebuilt. The intake is correct according to the BON.

Stamped Ford and the color is Blue

Firing Order 15426378
C 1960
4 1964
O Fairlane
E Engine
I thought the O Fairlane decode was a little weird, is this right???
My problem is I'm having a hard time decoding the carb. The carb has
Motorcraft stamped on it and the tag numbers look like this: 4P EC A8F 13
Any help with a decode would be greatly appreciated. Will try to post a pix
if I can figure out my daughters camera. Thanks in advance.
